Harmony Stained Glass

No Experience required!

Tuition plus cost of glass and supplies.

Come learn the exciting art of stained glass! This class is your foundation for many future glass techniques. In addition to your tuition, you will purchase the glass and a kit of supplies needed to complete the class. You can expect to spend about $180 for your supplies and glass. In five weeks you will create a 9”x 14” stained glass panel using the construction technique developed by Louis Comfort Tiffany. You will learn all of the skills required including cutting, fitting, foiling, soldering, framing and finishing.

Please remember you MUST visit Harmony BEFORE the first day of class to select and prepare your pattern. You can select your glass before the first day of class or between class weeks one and two. Allow at least an hour and come during daylight hours. You MUST have your glass purchased before class two starts. Please bring safety glasses if you own them. Always wear closed-toe shoes and long pants to class.

You will bring your selected paper pattern and tracing on sticky-back paper to the first class. Do not cut your pattern pieces before class! (You do not need to bring your carbon paper, second pattern or glass to Class 1)

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.
