Intro to Lead Came

Copper Foil Experience Required!

This class is the pre-requisite for our Advanced Lead Came workshop.

Tuition includes all glass and supplies for a 9-5/8" project.

We call lead came the "Technique of Professionals". When someone comes into the store for a commission window, we'll frequently be building it in lead came. Once you have experience in the basics of stained glass construction through our copper foil classes, lead came is a great technique to add to your stained glass tool kit. This introductory level class will give you an experience with the basic tools and strategies of building stained glass using lead came. More complicated assembly and finishing skills are addressed in our Advanced Lead Came series. You will be building the 9-5/8" project pictured above in your choice of colors. Taking this introductory class, coupled with glass cutting and fitting proficiency, qualifies students for the Advanced Lead Came class. Please wear long pants, closed toe shoes and bring safety glasses if you own them.

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

If you would like to register with a Gift Certificate or Harmony store credit please call us at 281-998-3381.
