Fusing Experience Is Required for This Class

Tuition includes all materials and firings for a 9" project.

Powder may be the single most versatile accessory glass available to the glass artist. But learning how to use it can involve a lot of trial and error. That’s where classes and books come to the rescue. Joyce, our fusing guru has studied powder techniques from Brad Walker, Paul Tarlow, Lena Beckéus and Sarinda Jones. It’s time to teach one of these fabulous skills; Batik technique! In this class, we’ll start with the basics and then introduce a huge variety of tools to design with from cookie cutters to water. You’ll have the chance to design and create one 9”x9” project. Your imagination will run free with this awesome technique!

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.
