Freeze and Fuse with Deborah Ellington

Fusing Experience Helpful But Not Required!
Tuition Includes all supplies and firing for multiple elements!
Freeze and Fuse is a “cool” technique with a “hot” following! It allows you to make glass elements of all kinds to add detail and dimension to your glass artwork. Join guest instructor Deborah Ellington to learn how to create all kinds of three-dimensional glass elements. You will learn the technique of filling the molds for successful freezing and firing, and there will be time in class to make dozens of elements!
All supplies are included in class except for an inexpensive electric toothbrush; students, please bring one to class (easily found for about $5 on Temu.com).
Deborah will also demonstrate how to make a custom silicone mold that you can use to create one-of-a-kind designs. You are truly only limited by your imagination!
Deborah Ellington holds an MFA in Ceramics and has been teaching art since 1974. She was both a professor and Dean of instruction at Lone Star College. She works in paint, ceramics and glass and we are excited to have her teaching at Harmony.
We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony when needed for your class. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.
If you would like to register with a Gift Certificate or Harmony store credit please call us at 281-998-3381.
