No Experience Required!

Tuition includes all supplies and firings.

When people come into the store, they can't help but look at all the art work. When they come to the stringer bowl, all they want to do is touch it! The stringer bowl looks like fabric that has been frozen. Using layers of glass stringer in your choice of colors, you’ll create a distinctive glass bowl or vase that is sure to be an artistic conversation piece. You’ll be able to choose if you want to have a solid foundation or keep it thread-like.Once you know this technique, you can recreate this bowl in many different colors and patterns. Since this project can be completed with no experience required, it's a perfect time to bring your family and friends to introduce them to glass!

Please bring safety glasses if you have them, and always wear long pants and closed toe shoes. See you in class!

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.

What a great afternoon! My husband & I pulled murrine (arranged in advance), which I’ve never done. Joyce is excellent to work with and helps you learn different techniques by letting you actually do it with her supervision. So happy with my glass!
