Glass Cutting Experience and Familiarity with Fusing and Reactions Is Required

Tuition includes all supplies for two melts. Students will purchase glass needed in week two to create their final project. All firings included in tuition.

Amazing things happen when you push the limits of heat work. Create your own unique glass, using pot melts and screen melts. You’ll create distinctive swirling color combinations and visual effects with these high temperature techniques. During the first session, you’ll learn how to select glass for your melts and then you’ll stack and arrange your glass to be melted into two beautiful disks. In the second session, you’ll learn how to select appealing parts from your two melts. You’ll decide which one should be left intact and which one will be sliced up to become distinctive elements in a 9” square dish. Don’t worry about waste. You’ll also have the option to turn the cut-offs into exclusive jewelry.

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.

What a great afternoon! My husband & I pulled murrine (arranged in advance), which I’ve never done. Joyce is excellent to work with and helps you learn different techniques by letting you actually do it with her supervision. So happy with my glass!
