Glass Cutting and Fusing Experience Required!

Tuition plus cost of glass (plan to purchase three 10"x10" pieces of Bullseye glass)

Once you pick your colors, in this class you’ll learn how to cut and assemble your glass to create a fantastic, 3/8” thick, 9” square, edge-patterned bowl. You can design your stripes to go in any direction. You can put in a window. Strip construction is a valuable fusing technique that features crisp linear patterns. In addition to cutting strips, you’ll learn the basics of damming thick glass so that it stays where you put it! Once your creation is full fused, you’ll come back to the store for a one-on-one session to learn basic cold-working skills that will turn your bowl into fine art!

Please bring safety glasses if you have them, and always wear long pants and closed toe shoes. See you in class!

We require that you purchase any class tools and supplies here at Harmony. By doing so, you help ensure that your local stained glass store will be here as a place for fun and learning for many years to come.

THE FINE PRINT - Terms apply to all classes at Harmony Stained Glass.
By registering for this class, you acknowledge that you have read and AGREE to these terms:
1. Your class will start on time. Please be on time and prepared. Please put your phone on silent so that it won’t disrupt the class.
2. Payment is required when you register for a class. When you register, we reserve that space and purchase supplies for you. Seven days advance notice is required to cancel your participation in a class. With seven days notice, you will receive Harmony store credit for your tuition. With less than seven days’ notice, tuition is forfeit. No refunds or credits will be offered in the case of a no-show on the day of class.
3. Classes with guest artists are never refundable unless we can fill your space. A $100 cancellation processing fee will apply to any refund that is issued.
4. In the event of a class cancellation by Harmony, you will receive a full refund.  
5. Typically a class reminder is sent as a courtesy, but it is your responsibility to remember your class date and time and to arrive prepared.
6. Class participants must be at least 13 years of age unless specified otherwise in the class description. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paid) guardian.
7. Participants give permission for Harmony Stained Glass to take and use photographs which may include their image or artwork.
8. Please wear closed-toe shoes and long cotton pants.
9.Everyone who is present for a class must be enrolled in that class.
10. If the class is "plus supplies", only supplies purchased at Harmony are permitted.
11.Class projects not picked up after three months will be considered abandoned and will not be retained.

What a great afternoon! My husband & I pulled murrine (arranged in advance), which I’ve never done. Joyce is excellent to work with and helps you learn different techniques by letting you actually do it with her supervision. So happy with my glass!
